My name is Marie Thérèse Atséna Abogo, I am PhD candidate in anthropology and communication at university Laval and university of Montreal, in Québec city. My research fosusses on the reception of hip-hop music by afro-immigrant rappers in Limoilou (Quebec neighborhood). I am just coming back from my fieldwork and would to send to you a paper on the intersection of communication and ethnographic methods of meaning making in hip-hop music.
